DR Bespoke
Privacy Policy
DR Bespoke Ltd (“DR Bespoke”, “we”) of K Mill Courtyard 1, Dean Clough Mills, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX3 5AX is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in our studio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Last updated 1 September 2026.
What we collect and why
- Enquiries and appointments — your name, contact details and message when you use the contact form, WhatsApp, phone, email or our booking system, used to respond and to arrange consultations (legitimate interests / steps towards a contract).
- Orders and commissions — contact details, delivery address, measurements and garment preferences, used to make and deliver what you commission (performance of a contract). We keep order records as required for tax purposes.
- Payments — card payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. See Stripe’s privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you sign up, used to send occasional studio updates (consent — unsubscribe any time by replying or emailing us).
- Website analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you to us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that run this website and our bookings: Stripe (payments), our booking provider (appointments), our email provider (messages and receipts), Google (analytics, embedded maps and reviews), and our hosting provider. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies: essential cookies that make the site work (such as remembering your shopping basket) and Google Analytics cookies that help us understand site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years so we can pick up where we left off. Order and commission records, including your measurements and pattern, are kept while you remain a client so future garments fit as well as the first — ask us to delete them at any time. Accounting records are kept for six years as required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email sales@drbespoke.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
